Stephen Wildblood KC, 3PB

Stephen Wildblood KC was the Designated Family Judge for the Bristol area for ten years before stepping down in November 2023. He practised at the Family bar for 27 years, the last 8 ½ in silk. He has written in over 20 legal textbooks on issues of family law and often lectures on the full range of family issues. He continues to sit, part-time, in the Family and High Courts. He and Dr Freda Gardiner (clinical psychologist) have set up an LLP which offers to assist couples resolve their family issues relating to money and children without litigation. They are both trained mediators and Stephen awaits the outcome of the arbitration course that he has recently completed. Stephen has also joined 3 PB chambers as an associate member offering private FDRs, early neutral evaluation and, in the future, arbitration. Stephen is also a playwright and author. He believes that Family litigation should be a last resort.

Alexander Chandler KC FCIArb, 1KBW

Alexander Chandler KC is a barrister specialising in financial remedies and TLATA at 1 King’s Bench Walk in London. He sits as a Recorder, Arbitrator and private FDR judge, posts blogs at familybrief.org, and tweets @familybrief.

Joanna Grandfield, Mills & Reeve

Barrister, mediator and collaborative family lawyer, Joanna is a partner and head of Mills & Reeve's London Family & Children team.

Joanna undertakes the full range of private family and children law but specialises in complex financial cases often with an international element and involving businesses and/or trusts in particular. She also advises on wealth protection by way of pre, post and co-habitation agreements for HNW and UHNW individuals both nationally and internationally.

Roger Isaacs, Milsted Langdon

Roger Isaacs is an award-winning chartered accountant and experienced expert witness. He is a partner in Milsted Langdon LLP, a regional accountancy practice with offices in London and the South West of England. Roger lectures and writes regularly on accountancy related topics in the context of separation and divorce.
