Family law cases now take longer to resolve than during pandemic restrictions. That is unsurprising given the root of the problem stretches back to the legal aid cuts brought in by LASPO. Government and the judiciary see mediation as a solution. And why not? Very few parties are ‘happy’ that their family case went to court.
