Lockdowns linked to 10% surge in couples divorcing

The Times
Divorces shot up last year, with experts highlighting the impact of Covid lockdowns on marriages.
Figures from the Office for National Statistics showed 113,505 divorces were granted in 2021 in England and Wales, a 9.6 per cent increase on 2020.
