There is, of course, no conflict of interest between any newspaper worthy of the name and the Matrimonial Causes (Regulation of Reports) Bill which Sir Evelyn Cecil introduced in the House of Commons yesterday. Nothing could really be more remote from the truth than the suggestion that reputable journals acquire circulation, or any other advantage, from the obligation to report the proceedings of the Divorce Courts.
