We received an exceptional number of entries from across the field of financial remedies, each one showcasing innovation, integrity, and excellence.
Winners were announced during a special ceremony following the Financial Remedies Conference 2026, hosted by Samantha Hillas KC & awards presented by Lord Charlie Falconer, & the categories sponsor representative.
Thank you to those who joined us for the awards. The awards were a fantastic opportunity to come together as a community to celebrate and recognise the incredible achievements of each of the winners.
Silk of the Year
Silk of the Year was awarded to James Roberts KC, 1KBW
What the judges said:
“The winner was chosen because he excelled in contribution to practice, notable cases, non-court resolution, pro bono work and leadership. The judges emphasised two ultra-high-value cases and his work as a mediator, arbitrator and private FDR judge. They also noted his public-service initiatives and his six years as Head of Chambers, during which chambers grew significantly.”
