The revised orders are:

1.1. Financial Directions Order (Longer version)

1.2 Financial Directions Order (Shorter version)

2.1 Financial Remedy Order

2.2 Order under the Children Act 1989, Schedule 1

The revisions to the orders reflect the substitution of Family Procedure Rule 9.27 and the revisions of Forms H and H1.

Rule 9.27(8) now requires the court to record in a recital to its order details of costs estimates/particulars filed. Rule 9.27(9) requires the court to record in a recital to its order any failure by any party to comply with the requirements to file estimates/particulars of costs.

Specifically, the following changes have been made:

  • Order 1.1: insertion of new paragraphs 20 and 21, and amendment to paragraph 86
  • Order 1.2: insertion of new paragraphs 17, 18 and 43
  • Order 2.1: insertion of new paragraphs 19 and 20
  • Order 2.2: insertion of new paragraphs 18 and 19

The revised orders have also been updated with new commentary and guidance notes from HHJ Edward Hess.
